Our Story:

What is Techno Casting today has its roots in a passion that has been with me for over forty years.

Hi, my name is Andrea, and it all started a long time ago with a simple gesture from my brother and the gift of my first fishing rod.

I still vividly remember the magic of that moment: the salty scent in the air and the rough texture of the rod in my hands, an emotion that ignited in me an unstoppable love for Surf Casting. The challenge of enticing sea creatures from the shore soon became a visceral connection.

Life, however, sometimes holds unexpected turns. A shoulder injury abruptly took me away from my beloved coastline for a period that, for me, felt endless.

The distance from the breaking waves and the tension of the fishing line was almost a suffering.

But it was precisely during that period of forced immobility, when the call of the sea seemed like a distant echo, that a new perspective presented itself: fishing with a bait boat. Initially, I was conflicted, almost fearing I was betraying my first passion, but curiosity and the desire to rediscover the thrill of the catch prevailed. And so, I discovered a new way to experience the sea.

The passion for bait boat fishing soon became all-consuming, amplified by my work and the related interest in technology. A world of new possibilities opened up before me. The experience gained in Surf Casting, the ability to read the sea and the winds, the knowledge of seasonal cycles and fish species, merged with the incredible potential offered by the bait boat and onboard electronics. Previously unimaginable distances became accessible, and the direct exploration of the seabed opened up completely new horizons in the search for prey. This synergy between tradition and innovation led to exciting results.

Driven by this passion and the desire to find the best solutions for bait boat fishing, I embarked on in-depth market research. Unfortunately, I encountered several difficulties, running into unreliable sellers and unsatisfactory technical support.

My perseverance finally led me to CRESEA PRODUCT, where I had the pleasure of meeting Tim Young, the owner. From this meeting, a sincere friendship and a serious and convinced collaboration were born. We shared the vision of valid products but with the potential for improvement to surpass even the best competitors, because we know that it's the details that make the real difference.

From this synergy of intentions, Techno Casting was born.

Our mission is to evolve the intrinsic emotion of traditional fishing, pushing it beyond conventional horizons thanks to the ingenuity of radio-controlled bait boats. We want to demonstrate how the ability to reach unimaginable distances with a traditional cast unlocks unprecedented opportunities to refine the fishing techniques you already master and love.

As a dear and wise Surf Caster friend taught me: "The more you learn to cast far, the more chances you have to reach seabeds where others don't... and, between succeeding and not, it's always double in comparison!"
